Chennai Supers Kings returned to the IPL 2018 like Kings after two years suspension. CSK came back strongly and defeated defending champions and traditional rivals Mumbai Indians in their first match at Wankhede. The CSK team was on the edge of losing the match, but Dwayne Bravo and Kedar Jadhav won it by playing fine innings.
But sadly, Kedar Jadhav has been ruled out of the IPL 2018. Now in the entire IPL, he will not be able to play a single match. In the first match against Mumbai Indians, Kedar had got a hamstring injury. Sources say that he is suffering from grade-2 pain in the hamstring. It’s really a very big blow for CSK.
CSK’s batting coach Michael Hussey informed that he is injured. Hussey said, “Unfortunately for us, Kedhar Jadhav has been ruled out for the rest of the tournament.”
“His hamstring scan did not come back so good. I believe it is a Grade 2 tear and he is going to be out for some period of time. We haven’t picked a replacement as yet but we will go through the process. It is a big loss for us because he is obviously a very good player and a key player in that middle order. There are big shoes to fill for that little man I guess,” Hussey added.
Chennai Super Kings also announced about Jadhav at their official Twitter handle.

Earlier, in the match, due to the injury, he returned to the Doug Out after retired hurt. At the end, when the team needed him and CSK required 7 runs in 6 balls, he came on the field to bat. He won the match for his team by hitting a six and a four in the last over. However, during his batting, it was clearly visible that he was in trouble. He scored 24 runs against Mumbai in 22 balls at the strike rate of 109.09.
CSK replaced Jadhav with English Player David Willey. Willey plays for Yorkshire and Yorkshire CCC itself announced the confirmation of Willey joining IPL at their Twitter handle.

David Willey is a handy all-rounder and can open the inning as well as can bat at the lower order. Now there are 12 English cricketers in this IPL season.
