According to Manchester Evening News, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s rumoured Manchester United move in the summer appears to be a done deal, as per the player’s representatives. It is believed to be in the nascent stages of negotiations, but they are confident of getting it over the line come the end of the transfer window.
The player has set the Serie A alight with his phenomenal displays in Lazio’s midfielder and has already made other top sides in the continent take note of him. He is already regarded as one of the best midfielders of this generation and would improve most Premier League sides’ midfield.
The player is reportedly valued around the £100 million mark by his club due to the growing interest in his services. United have already paid close to that amount for Paul Pogba last summer, and it remains to be seen whether they will be willing to shell out an extravagant fee of a money for another midfielder, particularly due to the stick and pressure Pogba has faced for his hefty price tag.

Barring a solid midfield presence, Milinkovic-Savic offers mobility and a phenomenal passing range. He can also carry the ball from deep and pull the strings in the middle of the park. The Serbian also offers a goal-scoring threat and could supplement United’s pacy attackers in the final third.
Signing Milinkovic-Savic would appear to be a real coup from the Manchester United board and would be one of the final pieces of the Mourinho jigsaw at Old Trafford to transform the Red Devils squad ideally catered to his philosophy. It is believed that there will be a massive overhaul in the summer and a number of players could also come the other way in order to make them a real force in the continent that can challenge competitively on all fronts.
