South African batsman and one of the all-time great AB de Villiers has announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket. The 34-year-old cricketer believes that this is the best time to end his 14-year career. De Villiers has played 114 Test matches, 228 ODIs and 78 T20 matches so far. People from all over the world call him Superman.
de Villiers said on his shock retirement announcement that “I’ve decided to retire from all international cricket with immediate effect. After 114 Test matches, 228 One Day Internationals and 78 T20 Internationals it is time for others to take over.”
ABD announced his retirement from his official Twitter handle making a comment “I have made a big decision today.”

Fans and everyone in cricket fraternity are shocked with his decision. ABD has been in tremendous form throughout his career. He is a 360-degree player and it has been always difficult for the opposition captains to place a field for him on the ground. He hit shots in all the corners of the ground.
The Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar is also socked by this big decision of AB de Villiers like others. He wrote on his Twitter Handle about this.
Don't say that AB de Villiers has retired from all forms of international cricket, say that AB de Villiers has retired from cricket in all 360 degrees.
