In the Nottingham Test match, Jaspreet Bumrah was included in the Indian team against England and he proved why he was being missed so much in the first two Test matches.
Jaspreet was unable to take part in the last two Tests due to injury. But as soon as he achieved his fitness, captain Kohli included him in the team. This was the first match of Bumrah’s Test career against England and in his very first match, he bowled extremely sharp against the hosts.
Total 7 wickets for Bumrah at Trent Bridge
Jaspreet Bumrah, bowling the best from India in the second innings of the third Test, showed the way for the pavilion to five England batsmen. He has broken the back of the England team with his bowling. Earlier in the first innings, he had taken two wickets. In this way, he has taken 7 wickets in this Test match so far.
He bowled 29 overs so far in the second innings of the third Test and bowled at an economy rate of 2.93 spending only 85 runs. He bowled eight maiden overs and took five wickets.
If Bumrah, on the fifth day, takes a wicket and it will be his best performance of his Test career. Bumrah had earlier taken seven wickets in the Johannesburg Test against South Africa in January this year.
He also took five wickets in an innings of this test. If he will be able to take one more wicket tomorrow then he will take six wickets in an innings and eight wickets in a Test match, then he can leave behind his last best performance.
