IPL 2018: Mumbai Indians Will Try to Open Their Account in the Battle between Indian Captain and Vice Captain

Right from the word go, this IPL 2018 has been about some nail-biting contests. The charged up teams have kept fans on the edge of excitement but the defending champions are yet to get underway. Mumbai Indians would be desperate for a win having lost their first three games. In their fourth encounter in the race to the trophy, the Mumbai Indians will be facing Kohli and his men at the Wankhede.

The RCB have managed just one win from their first 3 games. Even they would be keen to bounce back in the tournament by winning this game. There is every reason why both the teams would give in their everything to this contest which promises to be a great one. For both, their chances and morales, this win would be so important. It offers to be a riveting contest between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

RCB’s Batting Needs To Fire

For the Royal Challengers Bangalore, they would have to make sure that their rich batting order fires. They have been seen struggling to chase scores despite having the most lethal batting line up. If RCB plays to their potentials then there is no stopping this side. RCB also needs to work on its death overs bowling performance. Virat Kohli would be the key player for the RCB.

Best of MI Yet To Come

As for the Mumbai Indians, we are yet to see the best of Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah. In this game, Rohit Sharma would surely want to lead from the front which has not been the case so far. As for their bowling, with Jasprit Bumrah not being at his best, the death overs bowling woes would be haunting the Mumbai Indians. Rohit Sharma has scored just 44 runs in 3 games which worries the MI.

There have been some sparkling individual performances but they need to come good as a unit. Mumbai needs to give up on their cautious approach. In their last game against the Delhi Daredevils, they could not defend a handsome total of 195 courtesy their bowlers. Mayank Markande, the young sensation from Patiala might just be a surprising factor.
