Left-arm fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed, who debuted in the ODI match against Hong Kong on Tuesday in the fourth match of the Asia Cup 2018, has done a great job in his very first match.
In fact, Khaleel Ahmed presented the evidence of his superb bowling by taking 3 wickets against Hong Kong in the fourth match of the Asia Cup 2018 played at Dubai.
Ahmed gave Team India the biggest success. Hong Kong opener Nizakat Khan was dismissed lbw by Khaleel. Khan played an impressive innings of 92 runs in 115 balls with 12 fours and 1 sixes. Ahmed dismissed him on the fourth ball of 36th over.
Apart from this, he showed the way of pavilion to Ehsan Khan (22) and Christopher Carter (3).
Its noticeable that the 20-year-old left-arm fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed, living in Tonk, Rajasthan, becomes the 222nd ODI player to debut for Team India.
It is worth mentioning that Khaleel has played 17 list A matches in which he has taken 28 wickets. Rahul Dravid had been keeping an eye on him since the ICC U-19 World Cup 2016. He had also recently gone on a tour of England with India A.

India won its first match against Hong Kong by 26 runs. India scored 285 runs on the loss of 7 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan played a superb knock of 127 runs in the match. In the chase of India’s 285 runs Hong Kong could only score 259 runs on the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs.
