Mohsin Khan, president of the newly formed Cricket Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board, believes that Sarfraz Ahmed is under pressure by Pakistan’s captaincy in all three formats and the Test captaincy should be handed over to someone else.

Former Test batsman Mohsin suggested that the PCB can hand over the Test captain to any other senior player so that Sarfaraz can fully concentrate on the ODIs and T20I format.

It’s noteworthy that Sarfraz Ahmed is the captain of Pakistan cricket team in all three formats of the game. It is also a point to note that he seemed tired if the team had to play regular series of a different format.

Mohsin Khan talked about his views in brief

Mohsin said, “I have suggested only because personally, I believe that there is a lot of pressure on Sarfraz as a wicket-keeper batsman in the team. He seemed tired during the Test series against Australia.”

Mohsin, who had played the role of chief selector and head coach of Pakistan Cricket, said that some relief should be given to Sarfaraz.

He said, ‘During the Asia Cup tournament, Sarfaraz’s body language was so bad that I was feeling sad for him. I am saying you have a new boy, do not put the captaincy burden in all three formats on him. With this, he will be tired.”
