After losing to Rajasthan Royals, there was the news about verbal spat between Kings XI Punjab’s co-owner Preity Zinta and mentor Virender Sehwag. Quoting this argument, sources says that now Sehwag can leave the Kings XI Punjab in the middle of the IPL itself.
After losing to RR on Tuesday, Preity was very angry and she questioned about Punjab’s defeat in strong words from Sehwag. Sehwag is very hurt by this act of Preity. Now according to the news, he can end his five-year-old relationship with the team of Punjab.
According to reports, after the defeat on Tuesday, when the player did not even arrive in the dressing room, Preity Zinta reached to Virender Sehwag in anger. Shee expressed her objections to the team’s technique and strategy to Sehwag.
It’s noticeable that in this match, Ashwin had come to bat at number 3. So to send him to number 3 before Karun Nair and Manoj Tiwary, Preity made a questionnaire with Sehwag. She then also blamed him for this team loss.
There are also reports that Sehwag has clearly told the franchise that he will not tolerate Zinta’s tactics. Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia and businessman Mohit Burman are the owners of this Kings XI Punjab.
Opposite to this news Kings XI Punjab’s co-owner Preity Zinta has denied the news of the dispute with team mentor Virender Sehwag on Friday. Zinta has blamed the media organization, who has written articles on his conversation with Sehwag. The Dimple Girl has termed this news as ‘Fake’.
She also tweeted about it.
Mumbai Mirror gets it wrong again because we didn’t do Media net & pay them to write articles cuz that’s the only time they get it right. A conversation between Viru & me has been blown out of proportion & suddenly I’m a Villian ! Wow ! #fakenews https://t.co/qGOYhCiVtV
