After Warner left the captaincy of Sunrisers, there were speculations that this place in Sunrisers Hyderabad could now be given to India’s opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan.
If Shikhar Dhawan or any other Indian player was made the captain of this team then this would be the first time in the history of IPL when the captain of all the IPL teams was an Indian player. But Sunrise’s team gives the command of their team to Ken Williamson. Hence this record will no longer be able to be made. So this time even the captain of all the IPL teams will not be Indian.
