Gautam Gambhir is playing Vijay Hazare Trophy these days and in this match played against Kerala, this Delhi batsman scored a century in quick succession.
Gambhir’s storm against Kerala:
In the match against Delhi, Kerala won the toss and decided to bowl first. Before going to bat first, Gautam Gambhir and Unmukt Chand got off to the opener from Delhi. Both of them shared a 172-run partnership for the first wicket.
After that Unmukt Chand was dismissed on 69 runs but Gambhir did not stop and kept scoring runs and continued to move the scoreboard. Gambhir scored 151 runs on just 104 balls with a strike rate of 145.19.
To score so many runs, Gambhir also hit 18 fours and 6 sixes. However, after this, he was not out and he went out of the field after retired heart.
Along with Gambhir, Dhruv Shorey also scored an unbeaten 99 in 69 balls for Delhi. However, due to end of the overs, Shourie missed out on completing his century.
Thanks to the storms of Gambhir and Shorey, Delhi’s team set a huge target of 392 runs in front of Kerala. Kerala then could only score 227 runs after losing 8 wickets in 50 overs and lost the match by 164 runs.

Gambhir’s bat in the Vijay Hazare Trophy is raining runs heavily. Gambhir had earlier scored 62 runs against Saurashtra. After this, he scored 41 against Hyderabad and then Gautam scored 44 runs against Odisha.
