Karun Nair was not given a single chance in a any match against England and after that the decision to not to include him in the squad for the domestic Test matches series against West Indies is very annoying but chief selector MSK Prasad said that the player have been told the reasons for this.
Prasad said, “After the selection of the Test team against the West Indies, I spoke myself to Nair and told him the ways to return. The selection committee is very clear about the dialogue process.”
The second player, who scored a triple century for India in the Test, was selected in the seiner team for the England series but when the team made changes for the last two Tests, Hanuma Vihari got the opportunity to play in the match and his half-century and off- Brake bowling impressed everyone.
All believe that the Indian team is not happy with the involvement of Karun in the management team. In the recent interview given by Karun, he said that neither the team management nor the selectors spoke to him.

However, Prasad said that Karun was clearly told that why such a decision was taken. Former Indian wicket-keeper said, “Dialogue has always been a strong side of this committee. It is really difficult to give a bad news to any player. You should have a clear reason to keep them out, although they may not agree with it.”
Prasad said that his fellow, Devang Gandhi also spoke to this middle-order batsman in England when he was not picked in the final eleven.
