From Circuit Paul Ricard the action now moves to the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix. Like at the French Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton will be hoping to win at the Red Bull Ring too. He was the fastest in the practice sessions of the Austrian Grand Prix 2018 on Friday. Can he recreate the Paul Ricard magic? 

The Austrian Grand Prix has been held 31 times and it was first held in 1963. At the Red Bull Ring, Alain Prost has the most wins as for drivers while among the constructors McLaren has the most wins.

While Alain Prost has 3 wins to his name in the Austrian Grand Prix, McLaren has 6 wins. After 2003 the Red Bull Ring returned to the F1 calendar in the year 2014. 

In the last Austrian Grand Prix which was held in 2017, Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes finished first. He was accompanied at the podium by Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel who was second and Daniel Ricciardo of team Red Bull who finished third.

The Red Bull Ring which is the home of the Red Bull team has 71 laps in total. Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the fastest lap at the Red Bull Ring.
