The McLaren Driver has now completed the second leg of the ‘Triple Crown’. He made just debut for Toyota in what was the 86th instalment of the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
The Pole Position Leverage
Fernando Alonso’s win could be largely credited to his pole position with Toyota. His teammate Kazuki Nakajima won the pole position for the team after posting the fastest time in qualifying. He claimed a two-lap victory. Fernando Alonso said that he felt great after the win.
