Antonio Conte to replace Lópetegui

According to a report, Spanish veteran Real Madrid manager Julien Lópetegui is being replaced with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. However, Conte is Real’s first choice to replace the present coach but the goal is not that easy.

According to the Spanish media, after Real Madrid’s shameful 5-1 defeat against Barcelona on Sunday, Real’s President Florentino Perez will dismiss Julien Lópetegui by the post of manager of the club and will present the Conte as Real’s new boss soon.

Antonio Conte has a successful career as a coach

Italy’s manager, Conte, left the post in July after spending two seasons in Chelsea, where he won the Premier League in his first year and the FA Cup in the second year.

Conte has also served as the coach for Italy and Juventus, where he won three straight Serie A titles, although Madrid coach Lópetegui said that he still has the strength to continue in the job.

Lopetigui still has hopes

Lopetigui said: “We all know how the world of football works and the final responsibility is with the coach. I’m not stupid.”

“But here we win together and lose together, but I still believe we are in the early stages of the season and Madrid will certainly be happy to win this year,” he further added.

Apart from the embarrassing defeat of El Clásico, Real has many setbacks this year. Among them losing 3-0 in La Liga against Sevilla, losing 1-0 against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and losing 2-1 against Levante in La Liga are included includes.
