Leicester’s comeback game kicked-out Liverpool from the top 3 of Premier League

Leicester City made a 3-1 win against Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. In the first half both the goalkeepers maintained the score 0-0 rather they were lucky enough to maintain that. On the Liverpool side, Henderson’s sharp vision made a chance to give the ball to salah in one versus one position but Pereira’s pressure became the cause of losing control of the ball.
Reds maintained their play controlling the mid, in 17 minutes of the match injury knocked the Liverpool plan when Milner signaled, he could not continue Thiago came.
Another attack when Thiago’s out step cross head by Mane came to make Alexander-Arnold’s forward pass deflected by Kasper Schmeichel made a chance to Firmino to made a close finish but again blocked by Kasper Schmeichel.

But Vardy’s several counter-attacks made the situation getting tougher for the Reds in the first half. Unfortunately, he didn’t score but his attempts were remarkable. He made a volley which unfortunately hit the crossbar was a chance to take a lead in the first half.
In the second half, Firmino’s dodge pass in the D box of the Leicester made a beautiful finish done by salah. Liverpool took the lead but can’t hold for longer when Maddison’s free-kick made it 1-1 on the score table.
Also, this was a clear offside as Jurgen Klopp made his opinion. But after the VAR decision taken the referee cleared it as a Goal.
The last crucial 12 minutes was perfectly utilized by the Foxes when again Tielemans cross was cleared by Alisson outside the box and Vardy picked the ball and scored an open goal. Vardy’s unstoppable becomes a score at that moment.
Again, Barnes made a fast attempt by dodging the defense of Liverpool and scored a beautiful goal which gave Leicester a 3-1 lead.
But in this game, too many injuries were handled by Klopp. Two back-to-back substitutions were made where Ozan Kabak replaced the injured Fabinho to make his debut while James Milner came into midfield for Thiago, who was on the bench.
But after the match ends Maddison criticized after telling “we’ve got a lot of injuries but you won’t hear about them because we’re not the big 6”. Also,
“We know, when we play Liverpool, it’s going to be tough, because they can build and pass, and be direct as well,”
“It’s a case of staying in the game. We’re a top team now, we’ve got quality, and if we get chances, we can put them away. It showed because in 10 minutes we turned the game on its head.
“Alisson is obviously having a bit of a tough time at the moment, but I’m sure he’ll be back. I’m just glad we could take advantage of his mistake.”
Jurgen Klopp told BBC Sport afterward: “It was a clear game that we should win. We played good football, dominated possession, took the game out of Leicester but apart from that we were really top in the game.
“We scored a goal, could have and should have scored more, whatever. Everything fine and then the penalty, free-kick, offside, not offside, goal. That had a proper impact. That is something that has to change. The first goal for me is offside. The difference is we think it’s an objective thing but it’s not.”
