French Open: Get Ready to Watch the Williams Sisters Together after 2016

America’s legendary star Serena and Venus Williams have been given the wild card for the French Open women’s doubles. Williams sisters will try to win the third title at Ronald Garros. Earlier they won the title in 1999 and 2010. Both together have won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles.

After winning the title in 2010, Serena-Venus entered the French Open only in 2013 and 2016 in women’s doubles. But in both of the tournaments, they had lost in the first and third round respectively.

A tweet has been made on the French Open’s official Twitter page which also includes a photograph of the Williams sisters with French Open Doubles Trophy. This tweet confirms the official wild card entry of these two in the French Open Women’s Doubles.

In the French Open, three-time singles champion Serena will enter the Grand Slam for the first time after winning the Australian Open in 2017. She gave birth to a child in September last year, due to which she did not play in any tournament.
