I feared to lose Serena: Alexis Ohanian

Alexis Ohanian, husband of tennis player Serena Williams, said that he feared that he could have lost her wife after giving birth to her daughter last year. Internet businessman and co-founder of the Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, saluted Serena to return to the ground after a very complex surgery.

Serena, however, missed her 8th Wimbledon title due to a loss in Wimbledon final. In the final, Angelique Kerber of Germany defeated Serena 6- 3, 6- 3 to win the women’s singles title.

Ohanian wrote on Instagram: ‘After the daughter’s birth, I kissed my wife before surgery and none of us knew that she would come back or not.’

He said, “We just wanted her to be saved, but after 10 months she is in Wimbledon final.”

Serena had become a mother in September last year, but she had to undergo surgery due to blood clotting.

Alexis Ohanian said, ‘Angelique Kerber wish you good luck. Serena will soon take the trophy again.’

He said that someone at home is eagerly waiting for her. Our family knows that she will win many titles. She just started now. I can not be proud of her more than that.

Tennis Career of Serena:

Serena Williams has won 23 grand slams so far and she was just a match away in the Wimbledon 2018 final to match the all-time most grand-slam winning record of Margaret Court. But German player Kerber defeated her in the final match. Serena has also won 14 doubles grand slam titles with her elder sister Venus Williams and 2 mixed double grand slams as well.
