Novak Djokovic Starts at Queen’s With an Easy Win

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic defeated Australia’s John Millman with ease in the opener of the Queen’s Club 2018. Novak Djokovic posted a win in the opener by beating Millman 6-2, 6-1. 

It has been tough times for Novak Djokovic as he has not even reached the semi-finals in his last 5 Grand Slam appearances. Novac is reeling at the 22nd spot in the ATP rankings after he lost in the quarterfinals of the French Open to Marco Cecchinato.

He also struggled with an elbow injury and had to be operated in January 2018. He had to sit out almost the entire second half of 2017 given his elbow injury.

After an embarrassing elimination from the French Open, the 12 time Grand Slam winner decided to sit out of the grass tournaments to recapture his best form.

Then after getting a wildcard entry to Queen’s he started impressively on grass and defeated John Millman with great ease. The three-time Wimbledon champion will be looking to get his form back and also return to winning ways by winning the Queen’s Club 2018. 

Failure in Major Titles:

He is yet to win a major title since 2016. Djokovic last won the 2016 French open in terms of a major title. He has a total of 68 titles (singles) to his name.

The 31-year-old has a lot to do ahead of the approaching Wimbledon. In the next round at Queen’s he is pretty confident of beating
