Novak Djokovic to target US Open 2018 next

Serbian star tennis player Novak Djokovic, who is in splendid form, will be on the US Open 2018 title. Whereas last year after the Wimbledon, the ‘Big Four’ of tennis will be seen together in this Grand Slam.

With the defeat of Roger Federer in the Cincinnati Masters final, Djokovic has become the only tennis player to win all the 9 ATP 1000 Masters titles.

This 31-year-old player from Serbia, who won the fourth Wimbledon title in July, won the Cincinnati Open and completed his “Career Golden Masters.” He is the first player to achieve a Career Golden Masters.

Djokovic is the runner-up for five times, while last year he did not play due to an elbow injury. After losing in the quarterfinals at the French Open, it seemed that he would not play Wimbledon, but after three months he was again in the old form.

With Wimbledon, he has won 13 grand slams so far. In addition, he has won 31 Masters titles, two less than Nadal and four more than Federer. World No. 1 player Nadal won his third US Open last year.

Federer is also a contender of US Open 2018

On the other hand, 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer won the last US Open title in 2008. If 37-year-old Federer wins the title, he will be the oldest player to win this Grand Slam in the Open era. He lost in the quarterfinals last year.

In January, he won the Australian Open, but lost in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. Its noteworthy that he had not taken part in French Open this year.
