Rafael Nadal regained the World Number 1 rank after Roger Federer lost in the finals at Halle.
Rafael Nadal has had disappointing outings at Wimbledon since 2011. Since 2011 he hasn’t made it to the final 16 even once. However, at present, he is in a great form and has won 3 of his last 5 Grand Slams.
Can this Wimbledon be any different for him? He has won the French Open for two consecutive years and also lifted the 2017 US Open. He has 11 French Open Titles and 3 US Open titles to his name in total.
Nadal said that he doesn’t feel good about missing out at Queen’s. He missed out on the Fever Tree Championship to seek a break from the long court season. He said he was still happy about the break for he has played a lot on the clay courts in the past.
