Roger Federer makes his way to the semi-finals of Halle Open 2018

Roger Federer, the Swiss prodigy has cruised his way to the semis of the ongoing Halle Open 2018. He defeated Matthew Ebden in the quarterfinals of Halle Open to register his 19th straight win on grass. Federer beat Matthew Ebden 7-7 (7-2) 7-5 to make it to the semis.  

He will now meet Denis Kundla in the semis after defeating world number 60, Ebden in the quarterfinals.

Winning his 10th Halle Open title this year will ensure his stay at the top of the ATP rankings. The Swiss star already has 9 Halle Open titles to his name among his total tally of 99 career titles. He will now Denis Kundla in the semis after defeating world number 60, Ebden in end quarterfinals.

The 20-time grand slam champion must make sure that he wins the Halle Open 2018 before going into Wimbledon 2018 which starts of July 2. If Roger Federer doesn’t win the Halle Open then he will once again lose his number 1 spot to Rafael Nadal. 

Amazing Federer on Grass:

He has been extraordinary on grass courts. This was his 19th consecutive win on grass and it proves the fact that he is almost invincible when playing on grass. His Tally of 20 grand slams is the most by any tennis player in the history of the sport.

He also has a record number of Wimbledon wins to his name. Roger Federer has 8 Wimbledon titles to his name. One more title win and he will complete his 100 titles which would be a remarkable achievement.
