Stan Wawrinka sends out a warning to Andy Murray

Stan Wawrinka sent out a warning to Andy Murray. The former warned the latter to not rush his comeback from a prolonged injury. Andy Murray after making a comeback from a hip injury at the Queen’s was defeated by Nick Kyrgios. Andy Murray was beaten 2-6 7-6 7-5 by Nick Kyrgios.

After the loss Andy Murray who’s now at a dismal 156 spot in ATP rankings is now not certain of competing at Wimbledon. Andy Murray made a comeback at the Queen’s after almost an year of being injured and indecisive. 

After the loss at Queen’s Andy Murray said that he’s unsure if his body would meet the fitness demand of the best of five sets at Wimbledon which starts on July 2. 

So would we see Andy Murray at Wimbledon 2018? Will the 3 times Grand Slam champion call it a day after struggling with fitness?

Swiss prodigy Stan Wawrinka is himself making his way back from a prolonged injury. He told Andy Murray how difficult it is to play at a major event after sitting out for so long. Stan Wawrinka met with a knee injury last year and has to undergo two operations.

Stan Wawrinka at Queen’s:

Wawrinka went down to Sam Querrey 7-5 7-6 6-1 in the second round at Queen’s on Wednesday. He clearly looked rusty and not at his best. Wawrinka is now at the 261st spot in the ATP rankings after staying out for long.
