Wimbledon 2018: Andy Murray takes on Benoit Paire in round one

Former world number 1 Andy Murray is yet uncertain to play in Wimbledon 2018 but if he plays he will be facing Benoit Paire. Andy Murray is still uncertain about his fitness and finds it hard to take the Wimbledon call.

The 2 time Wimbledon champion has returned to tennis after 11 months given his hip injury. He made his comeback at Queen’s where he was defeated by Nick Kyrgios in the first round.

Andy Murray has won the Wimbledon twice and he seems upbeat about playing Wimbledon this year at the same time being cautious about his fitness.

Andy Murray said that he is most likely to play Wimbledon. He has been drawn against Benoit Paire of France in the first round of Wimbledon 2018. The Wimbledon starts on July 2.

Roger Federer who has the record for having the most Wimbledon titles will face Dusan Lajovic of Serbia in the first round.

Rafael Nadal, on the other hand, will face Dudi Sela from Israel in the first round. Kyle Edmund will be facing Alex Bolt of Australia in the first round. Along with that Stan Wawrinka will lock horns with Grigor Dimitrov. 

Women’s Matches:

In Women’s rounds, Serena Williams will be playing Arantxa Rus. The Wimbledon champion Garbine will face the Naomi Broady challenge in her first round.
