Can Vettel win his third Hungarian Grand Prix title and make a comeback to the title race?

The F1 action will now move from the German Grand Prix to the Hungarian Grand Prix before a month-long F1 break comes in. Having won at the German Grand Prix, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has made himself almost invincible in this year’s world championship. Can Sebastian Vettel jump in again at the Hungarian Grand Prix?

It was Sebastian Vettel who won the last year’s Hungarian GP after starting from the pole position. But Lewis Hamilton has the most wins at the Hungaroring among drivers having won the Hungarian Grand Prix 5 times.

McLaren driver Fernando Alonso holds the record for the fastest lap at the Hungarian GP and McLaren has the most wins among constructors. McLaren has 11 wins at the Hungarian GP which is the most among constructors.

The Hungarian Grand Prix:

The Hungarian Grand Prix was first held in 1986 and moved to Hungaroring in 2003. In 2017 Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari finished first followed by Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari and Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes. Vettel has won at Hungaroring twice in 2015 and 2017.

Mercedes Driver Lewis Hamilton has won the Hungarian GP in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2016. Nelson Piquet was the first driver to win at the Hungarian GP as he won consecutively in 1986 and 1987. F1 legend Michael Schumacher has won the Hungarian Grand Prix four times. He won in 1994, 1998, 2001 and 2004.

Can Sebastian Vettel notch up his third win at the Hungarian GP and make a comeback to the title race or will Lewis Hamilton remain invincible?
