Charles Leclerc almost certain to sign a two year deal with Ferrari

Charles Leclerc who is driving for Sauber this year is all set to join Ferrari. The 20-year-old has been massively impressive with points won in four of his last five races. A very close source to Ferrari has revealed that Charles Leclerc has agreed to sign a two year deal with Ferrari.

He is all set to be Sebastian Vettel’s new teammate. This means that the end of Kimi Raikkonen’s five years stay at Ferrari would come to an end in all probabilities. Leclerc is on the verge of signing a contract with Ferrari till 2020 after grabbing all eyeballs in his first year at F1. 

Charles Leclerc, the driver from Monaco was signed by Sauber this year. Ferrari always had an eye on him and speculations were always on. Now his new partnership with Ferrari is almost confirmed.

It was also being speculated that Ferrari could even go for Daniel Ricciardo who comes to an end of his contract with Red Bull. But Charles Leclerc has performed to his potentials and that is what gives enough reasons to Ferrari to partner with him.

Leclerc did commit mistakes in his first few races but Azerbaijan Grand Prix was different. He took Sauber to the sixth place there and announced his arrival in F1.

Since then he has exhibited amazing racing skills and potentials. Charles Leclerc could just be the next big thing in F1 racing. 

With Charles Leclerc being certain of joining Ferrari, is it curtains for Kimi Raikkonen? Kimi Raikkonen’s F1 career then goes in jeopardy after the 38-year-old will be replaced with Leclerc. But there are speculations out there that McLaren might be interested to go for him.
