English club Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder, Dele Alli, has extended his contract with the club for six years. Alli’s talks with Spurs regarding new contract were going on from last season and now this new deal will double his weekly salary from £50,000 to £90,000.
The 22-year-old player joined Tottenham in 2014. He went ahead to make himself a key to the club and scored 48 goals in 153 matches.
Alli said that he was happy with this new deal. He said “I love my time in Spurs. I am very excited to see what is going to happen next to me.”
After running on the epitome of Harry Kane, Devin Sanchez and Kieran Trippier, Alli is in the list of the star players who are ready to make their upcoming career with this club.
This attacking midfielder came in the form of an alternative to the defeat of Pep Guardiola, who had won against Watford after the Carabao Cup in September.
Dele Alli shares his views on the new contract:
Alli posted on Instagram after signing the new contract “Delighted to have signed a new contract until 2024.”
He also wrote, “Would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the club – chairman, manager, all my team-mates and the fans for their constant support.”
“I’ve loved my time at Spurs so far and I’m very excited to see what the future holds!”
