Machester United Keen To Have Barcelona’s Yerry Mina Onboard

Sources reveal that Manchester United could rope in Yerry Mina 30 million Euros. After the buzz around Harry Maguire cooled down, Manchester United will now be targeting Mina. Manchester United is no longer interested to have Leicester defender Harry Maguire and are rather keen to have Yerry Mina of Barcelona as per sources.

Harry Maguire was approached by the Manchester United to make a deal worth 65 million Euros. The deal could not take place as Leicester is stubborn about not letting their central defender drift apart. So, now Manchester United’s hopes of having Maguire don their jersey have almost dashed.

Yerry Mina scored 3 goals for Colombia in the FIFA World Cup 2018 including a handsome equalizer against England. He scored in the 93rd minute against England to take the game into the penalty shootout.

He also scored the only goal by Colombia in its 1-0 win over Senegal in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup.

Colombia however, lost out to England in the penalty shootouts. All 3 of these goals came off headers from corner shoots.

Journey with Barcelona

The 23-year-old has been playing for Barcelona since the beginning of the 2018 season and is yet to score a goal in 5 appearances. In 2016 he signed a contract with Palmeiras and scored 6 goals for them in 28 appearances.
Manchester United has already signed the former teammate of Mina at Barcelona, Lucas Digne but they seems interested to have the centre-half onboard as well. Will Yerry Mina make the move from Barcelona to Manchester United?
