Messi’s injury will give him a break from the final match of this year against Eibar

Barcelona Confirm Lionel Messi is now undergoing treatment for his right ankle injury. Messi has picked up an ankle injury in the last match against Valladolid. He will miss the last match of this year against Eibar. Earlier this month he had missed two UEFA Champions League fixtures against Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros.

The Club expects that the Argentine will return in the new year and will be fit to play against Huesca after completing a full course of treatment for his right ankle.

Leo also increased his vacation for Christmas to spend time off with his family at Rosario in Argentina. He posted some family pictures on Instagram which shows how much they are enjoying Christmas.

Also, in the last match against Valladolid after scored the third goal of the match at 65 minutes Messi took the record of one more goal than Brazilian Star Pele scored for Santos. After scoring 644 goals Messi becomes the highest scorer of all time, the happiness he is sharing with his family and friends.

Messi has played 18 times in this season for the club and recovered some form scored 10 times. Barcelona won the last four matches and made the place 5th for them.

FC Barcelona is eight points behind the La Liga leader Atletico Madrid and now 5th in the table. FC Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has to plan for the next and the last match of this year against Eibar without the six times Ballon D’or winner.
