Want to learn more from Messi and Ronaldo, says Neymar

Football superstar Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain has shown great respect to the legendary players Messi and Ronaldo. He talked with a great respect about his Barcelona’s former fellow player Lionel Messi and Juventus Star Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Barcelona Winger admitted Lionel Messi is still his idol and he called the former Real Madrid player the ‘monster’.

The Brazilian spent four years with Messi in Spanish club Barcelona and helped the club to win two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey titles and Champions League during his tenure.

Neymar shared his views on Messi and Ronaldo

Neymar spoke to the Players’ Tribune and said, “I played with Messi, which is for me, is one of the greatest footballers of all time, and he is ‘Idol’ for me in football.”

“With Messi, I learned every day, whether during our practice, or playing with him, or just watching him play. And that made me stronger and it increased my capacity on the field because I kept learning a lot from him,” he also told to the tribune.

“As for Cristiano Ronaldo, he is a ‘monster.’ Facing him is a pleasure and an honor, but we have to be more prepared. He is one of the greatest in football so you get smarter, you get alert, but at the same time, you learn a lot, too,” he further expanded his statement by including his views on Ronaldo.

“So, they are two of the big guys that I can relate to because I want to learn, I want more, I want to win, I want more trophies, score more goals … so I keep learning from them every day,” he further added.

“They are two big boys with whom I can relate to myself because I want to learn from them, I have to learn a lot, I want to win, I want more trophy. Therefore, I learn from them every day,” he concluded.
